Hypothesis: 

 

Movement has the power to increase mood and confidence level in students of the university. The movement I will be instructing the students to do will be generated through their own creativity. My objective is to see how the creative dance class affects the way the students view their mood and confidence level. I believe that the results will be positive. The creative dance class will promote an increase in mood and confidence

Methodology:

 

I will have a 10-minute discussion before and after class where the students will rate their mood and confidence on a scale of 1-10. 1 being poor and 10 being great. There will be a 40-minute creative movement class.

Summary: 

 

This project is just the starting point of something bigger. With the feedback I got from people who attended the presentation, I was able to gain ideas on how to grow this research. One idea that stood out to me was getting a wider pool of individuals. this will range in age, their gender identification, occupation, and many more components. I will perform the same steps; however, this will allow me to test the validity of my results.
